The simpler answer is simply to mount the turbo in a better spot where it can be cooled by ambient air.

STS remote-mounted turbo systems bolt onto factory mounts on the underside of your vehicle, leaving your engine compartment cool and uncluttered. In fact, STS systems give you approximately 500-degree cooler turbo temperatures, not to mention better weight transfer, due to their rear placement. The basic STS systems give you around a five PSI boost, while extra tuning and upgrades can boost you up to 20 psi.
