STS turbo systems enhance the performance sound of your vehicle with the addition of the noises associated with a turbo spooling up.
Because STS replaces your muffler with a turbo, most people are concerned that their car will sound like a dragster. However, the turbo acts like a muffler which makes your vehicle sound like it has an aftermarket performance muffler. If you're after something even quieter, you can add a small muffler to the system that quiets it down back to stock.

Z71 5.3L GMC Truck Video
One of our customers has graciously allowed us to post the video of his truck. The truck is an '01 GMC Sierra Z71 and he is running 13 lbs of boost. Here's what he's done to his truck and what he has to say about the STS(tm) turbo system.
Modifications: STS Turbo Kit, 226/220 dur .591/.554 lift 116 lsa cam, long tube headers, Yank 3000 torque converter, AlkyControl Methanol Kit.
"This is by far the coolest mod I have ever done to any of my cars. I've run nitrous, superchargers, and heads/cam combos and so far nothing has put a smile on my face like the day I took my truck for a test drive after the STS install. At anything less than 35mph I floor it and it's instant tirespin for as long as I wanna drive sideways ;) Remember this is an Ext.Cab 4x4 fullsize truck with a 5.3L motor!
My truck stock makes a max of 242HP at the wheels. With my current mods and the STS kit I now make 436 RWHP and 479 RWTQ and never have less than 400 RWHP from 4000rpm to 6700rpm. Talk about a nice powerband!"
